Using mindfulness breathing with Acupuncture

I have been using the mindfulness breathing more and more in the clinic and with some lovely feedback. Just seems quite a natural addition to the treatment space,.Once I have decided on the correct treatment for today and once the needles are in place then I leave the needles in for about 20 minutes or more. So during this time if my client is having any issues with stress or worry etc I will talk through some simple steps guiding attention to the breath and to the sensation of the body lying on the couch. This helps to settle the busy mind. Somedays I might get to do this 3 or 4 times depending on who is coming for treatment and so I get to have a little mindfull time too....lovely!
